After studies at La Sorbonne in Paris, and previously working in the advertising industry, Caroline Mollanger lived abroad for almost half of her life, in several cities in the USA, Europe and most recently in Japan, changing houses 15 times in 17 years.
She studied finearts and graphic design mainly with local artists and at Pacific Northwest College of Art and Massachusetts College of Art.
While living in Japan from 2012 until 2015, she studied shodo, sumi-e and nihonga, and these disciplines drove her to an affirmation of art and life’s aspiration. “My “latest Life” in Japan has been such a strong sign of becoming at last who I am: through its arts, its culture and even its language, I felt the urge to focus on the Essence”. Japan legitimated at this time her search of spirituality and eased her quest about life’s purpose. Since then, she practices meditation via sitting, walking or running, and all her activities are done in a full presence.
